Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas is Insomniac Events' flagship festival and attracts hundreds of thousands of electronic dance music (EDM) fans each year.
EDC was winner of the Best International Dance Festival award at the 2011 Ibiza DJ Awards. After a 10 year run in Los Angeles, the festival expanded to three days in 2011 and moved to Las Vegas after signing a 10 year contract with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The 2012 event included over 150 musical artists, 500 theatrical performers, and 300,000 fans over the course of the three day dusk-till-dawn festival, making it the largest music festival of any genre in North America.
EDC Week (June 18-25) surrounds the festival and will include a number of day and nighttime events around Las Vegas as well as the return of EDMbiz, a conference for electronic music professionals.
